Order Procedure

What information do I need to fill in?

Fill in your details as completely as possible. The address with house number, your name, telephone number, and your flight number. This ensures that we always take you to and from the right place on time.

How far in advance should I order the taxi?

Will I receive a confirmation of my reservation?

Yes. That's why it's important to provide the correct email address and telephone number. If there's anything unclear in your details, the driver will personally contact you. If you pay online, you'll receive all trip information and the invoice immediately.

Important Information

1. Data Verification / Change / Cancellation
Check your mobile phone number and flight number on the reservation confirmation. Are certain personal details incorrectly filled in or have your plans changed? No problem. You can quickly and easily change your details or cancel your trip via the confirmation email. Cancellation is possible up to 6 hours before pickup time.

2. Where do I find my driver?
Being picked up in Amsterdam? Your driver will call or message you shortly before the pickup time on the number you provided. If stopping at your address is not allowed, your driver will agree on a nearby pickup spot with you.

Being picked up at Schiphol? Always provide your flight number so we know when you've landed (we receive real-time flight information). Your driver will contact you within 15 minutes of landing; therefore, please verify your provided phone number including the country code. Meeting point at Schiphol is: Departures 3 (upstairs) door D.

3. Verification
Important: ask the driver for the ride number, which is also on your confirmation. This ensures you're dealing with a reliable City Taxi driver.

Fares & Payment

Meter versus fixed price

We don't operate with meter rates. The price you see on our site is the price you pay. There are no extra costs afterward. The price is calculated based on the shortest route. It may happen that the driver takes a different route due to factors like traffic or accidents. Even then, the pre-established rate applies. No surprises with us!

How can I pay?

You can securely pay online in advance using various services such as iDeal, Mastercard, Visa, AMEX, and Paypal. Something for everyone. For safety reasons, we prefer not to have drivers carry cash around.

Do I pay extra for each passenger?

No. You pay for the taxi ride. Are you traveling with more than four people? Then you can order a van. A van costs a little more. Regardless of whether you're traveling in a car or van, you order the taxi for yourself or your group. The taxi won't be shared with other passengers during your ride.

Luggage & Special Requests

How much luggage can I bring?

There is space for 2/3 suitcases depending on size. Think your luggage won't fit in a car? Then order a station wagon or van, or contact us.

I have oversized luggage, what now?

Do you have oversized luggage, like a surfboard or golf clubs? Please contact us first so we can accommodate the car size accordingly.

Traveling with pets or wheelchair?

Child seat in the taxi?
